Observe God’s Ways

“My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.”
Proverbs 23:26 KJV

God says to not only give our hearts to Him, but also to use our eyes in observing His ways.

A great way to observe God’s ways is by spending time in the outdoors and watching how He feeds the birds, clothes the grass with beatiful lillies, nourishes the earth with sunshine and rain.

All of these speak of God’s love and care for us.

So next time you’re out in nature, take the opportunity to notice what object lessons God is using to speak to you.

In the meantime, test your observation skills with the picture above (click to enlarge it) and see how many questions you can solve below.

Have fun!

There are four names on the cooking duty list Andy's name is covered up.

There are oars by the tree.

The kite tail shows the wind direction. (To tell which direction is which, look at the leaves on the trees – they’re normally fuller and heavier on the southern side of trees – if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere.)

Take the answer from the previous question to figure out east and west then work out the time based on the shadows. Remember, the sun rises in the east.

He's behind the tent flying a kite.

Matt is reading his Bible as usual (a backpack marked with an ‘M’ for Matt show he loves reading); We already know that Andy is flying a kite; Pete is the one singing (his guitar case is marked with a 'P' for Pete ). This leaves John currently on cooking duty – then, according to the list, that means Matt was on cooking duty yesterday.

The clue given from the kite shows that it is the year 2020 and it's on a Saturday since Pete is singing a Sabbath song. Also, it's the 9th day of the month according to the cooking duty list. So if you look at a calendar for the year 2020, the only Sabbath day that falls on the 9th is on May.
